Important notes for riders and their support crews before travelling to Luhmühlen.
A smooth arrival starts with good preparation. Please make sure the following points are taken care of before you set off.
Before you leave, please make sure horse passport, vaccination record, TRACES documents, and all registration information are complete and ready at hand.
The declaration form (starter list) must be completed and submitted in the MG Scoreboard by 5 July 2026: MG Scoreboard – My Entries.
The check-in is also handled via the MG Scoreboard. There you will record temperature logs, your existing TRACES number, and whether new TRACES are needed: MG Scoreboard – My Entries.
Arrival is scheduled for Monday, 27 July 2026.
Saddle, bridle, helmet, safety gear, and any other equipment must comply with IMGA rules and be available for inspection at tack check.
The stable box including initial bedding is included. Additional bedding, hay, and feed can be ordered via the Event Shop: Event Shop.
All horses require a valid equine influenza vaccination according to FEI regulations. The overview below outlines the complete vaccination schedule from the primary course to the boosters.
First vaccination of the primary course (V1) on day 0. All subsequent deadlines are counted from this date.
Second vaccination of the primary course (V2) at least 21 and no later than 60 days after V1.
The first booster vaccination (V3) must be given within 6 months and 21 days after V2.
Minimum requirement: every additional booster vaccination must be administered within one year of the previous booster.
For competing at the event the last vaccination may not be older than 6 months + 21 days. Not older than 12 January 2026!
Temperature monitoring helps detect health risks early and protect every horse on the event site. It is mandatory from 24 July 2026 onwards and ends only when the venue is finally left.
From 24 July 2026 the body temperature of every pony/horse must be measured daily and documented in the „Check in“ section on MG-Scoreboard.de.
Each rider is required to provide their own thermometer and use it for every measurement – both before travelling and throughout the stay.
The obligation to monitor temperature ends only when the venue is finally left („until the premises are finally left“).
The temperature log must be kept tidy and presented on request. The values are entered at check-in in the MG Scoreboard. You will find the check-in link in your e-mail inbox and here: MG Scoreboard – My Entries.
After unloading, the organiser measures the body temperature of every pony/horse. The pony is not allowed to enter the stables before this measurement.
Enough time is intentionally given between unloading and measurement so that summer heat and transport stress do not cause incorrect readings.
In case of fever, cough, nasal discharge, lethargy, or any other symptoms, please do not travel and seek veterinary advice immediately.
The stables are a sensitive area for horses and riders. Please follow the rules below so calm, safety, and hygiene are maintained.
A strict no-smoking and no-vaping rule applies in all stables and the immediate stable area. E-cigarettes and comparable devices are also not allowed.
Only people who have a horse stabled there or directly belong to a horse (rider, groom, official accompanying person) are allowed in the stables.
Supporters and spectators are kindly asked to stay out of the stables. For meet-ups and time spent together please use the designated areas on the venue.
Feed, paddock spaces, and power hook-ups can be booked in advance via the Event Shop – that is cheaper and guarantees availability. Anything needed later can be booked on site.
Hay and haylage are available on site or can be ordered in advance via the Event Shop. Pre-booking earns a discounted price compared to buying on site.
The box comes with initial bedding. Additional bedding can be bought on site or pre-booked via the Event Shop – pre-booked at a discounted price.
Additional paddock spaces can be booked via the Event Shop. They may only be used during the day – at night the horses must return to their boxes. By 9 p.m. at the latest all horses must be in their boxes.
Power hook-ups are also booked via the Event Shop. Sharing one hook-up between multiple participants is not allowed – please book a separate hook-up for each need.
For a consistent and professional presentation, every rider needs an up-to-date profile photo. The photo is uploaded in the MG Scoreboard under Rider Profiles.
Please wear the jersey you also ride in and put on the helmet – this keeps the photo authentic and matches the later competition presentation.
Stand straight in front of the camera, look ahead. Either let the arms hang loosely or fold them in front of the chest – consistent, calm, confident.
The photo shows the upper body from belly button upwards – please leave enough space for the helmet and shoulders without cropping the head.
No additional person and no horse may appear in the profile photo – only the rider is shown.
A calm, single-colour background is recommended. This brings the rider clearly into focus and makes all profiles look consistent.
A careful appearance matters: clean equipment and tidy jersey. The photo represents the rider and team in public.
The profile photo is uploaded in the MG Scoreboard under Rider Profiles. Please take care of this early so all profiles are complete before the event.
